Ignite Drive is a community-funded, free driver training programme that helps young people gain the practical driving experience they need before sitting their restricted and full licenses. The programme is led by Community Mentors under the guidance of an NZ Transport Agency (I) endorsed driving instructor.

Since 2022, Ignite Drive has delivered over 3,820 hours of driver training to 379 rangitahi, resulting in 210 successful license gains—supporting safer, confident drivers in our community.
